Join us for this hands-on workshop led by renowned business model designer Alexander Osterwalder to learn his simple but powerful and systematic approach that allows you to rapidly prototype new business models. In this session you will learn how to use a series of business model “building blocks” to construct a "business model canvas." In this interactive session, participants will construct their own business model based on a business scenario, which will be chosen during the workshop.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

A leading thinker on business model design, Alex is best known for his work with clients in the private banking sector in his role as Managing Partner at Arvetica, a strategic management-consulting firm based in Geneva.

Alex has developed worldwide recognition for his advancement of business model ideas related to innovation which he regularly contributes through his blog http://business-model-design.blogspot.com. He is also currently working on a book on business model innovation with Prof. Yves Pigneur of the University of Lausanne. He holds a PhD and Masters degree from the HEC Business School of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
